Bicycle Glamping in Northumberland

Set within the Mid Northumberland rural landscape, the site was previously part of a wider field and was partly farmed for arable crops and partly left as edge of field boundary vegetation.
The clients are looking to set up a small business providing holiday accommodation for cyclists exploring the area. The proposals are for 3 holiday cycling accommodation units, a house extension to provide the facilities to run the business and solar panels to service both the house and the cycle accommodation.
The proposals are born from the increase of cyclists using the local area and the lack of accommodation to serve this clientele, this has been highlighted by extensive research by the client and the aspirations of Northumberland Tourist Board who have a separate section to their website specifically aimed at Cyclist Tourism.
Reed Studio was employed to design the bicycle accommodation pod and design the landscape.
